It's over. Akhirnya, habis jugak.
After almost two years, selesai sudah. And, what more to celebrate it by going up north and having the convocation at my old U.
Which by the way, dah banyak dah berubah. Places where i use to ride, lepak or trek rasanya banyak dah takde.
Dah ada hotel kat situ, Hotel EDC sesuai untuk mak bapak yg datang nak tengok anak2 dia. Because nak berulang2 alik dari Jitra ker, Alor Setar ker..amatlah jauh.
And yes, UUM is still far away from others.
Almost 8 years since the last time i came to Sintok. Lama dah tuh, as Sintok bukan lah satu tempat yg u would go tanpa sebab. Jauh bangat tuh dari KL. Kalau tak silap dalam 476km from KL. And time has made UUM a different place that i remembered before. After picking up the jubah on Saturday, made my way to PKP (as it used to be called) and walk around to see my old klub room. Alas, it locked (dulu tak penah lock pun tingkap dia..hehe), so i peep inside the room. It was like it used to be. Tapi...gambar2 dulu2 sudah tiada.
Satu yang kurang best ialah the timing of the convo. Nampaknya musim banjir dah tiba di utara. We were lucky to be the 1st session since sejak sabtu, hujan tak berhenti-henti dari pagi sampai ke malam. Sebab, masa dah balik KL, we heard that Keday and Perlis dah naik air. And convocation of the last session ditangguhkan because UUM was no longer accessible.
Anyway, malam sebelum balik KL, we balas dendam kat Kedai Linda yg dirindui sejak zaman-zaman dulu. And....its still cheap!
After this, dunno when would i be coming up north again.

The oldest picture that i saw was from the year 2005. I left in 2001.
Hmm...looks like i no longer belong there.
At first, it was a bit sad. Mind you, i spent 20-30% of my Uni years bergelumang kat sini, dengan rakan-rakan kembara. I like to think that we were the best of friends then, and now.
'Bilik Klub' was one of the 'landmarks' of this team, this grup.
But, time goes by. Younger generations have taken over.
And, its time to move on.

Cuma, they have to do something about the place lohh.. Sekarang nih, Linda jer berniaga sana. Orang lain semua abih di pukul nya kot.
